NCAP National Coalition Against Poverty
Who are we?
We are a coalition against poverty working mainly at
the national level for our low income Canadian citizens and we are run by our brothers and sisters who are in need. We are
also a bilingual organization (French & English)
Where did NCAP began?
Our coalition began in August 2006 in
Calgary A.B. We are an offshoot of the Albertans Against Poverty Organization which was founded originally in Edmonton in
2003, this organization was in turn an offshoot of the Alberta Coalition Against Poverty which was formed in December 2001
in Calgary.
What is our mandate?
Our mandate is to fight for better living conditions for our less fortunate
and low income workers.
Does it cost anything to become a member?
It is free to become a member, all we require
is for our members to help our coalition grow to become a strong voice for our brothers & sisters.
